Franked 10 sld Austrian stamp perforation 9.5 x 9.5, tied by Jerusalem postmark dated 8.3 (1883) alongside sender oval cachet "Bichur Cholim Hospital".  German written notations on back cover, regarding money owed . Arrival postmark on back dated 23.3 (1883).  Cover with normal wear on margins. F-VF.

Next the cover transfer by Austrian Lloyd Steamer ship to Alexandria (p/m 20.2.1885) & from there transfered by ship to New York with arrival p/m Double circle New York - Paid PD dated March 14.  Fine condition & scarce.

Port Said Egypt trasit p/m on front 17.7.1906 alongside Berlin arrival p/m 23.7.1906. Sender dated XF negative seal at top left. Long German written message on back. VF.

Palestine Forerunners Austrian Post - Parcel card for 3 packages sent from Jaffa to Sadagora (In Ukraine today). Frank total of 18 Piastre  x6 Austrian overprinted stamps, tied by Jaffa P/Ms 22.8.1900. Tristi Italy transit p/m  on back alongside Czernowitz Ukraine transit p/m 11.9.1900 & Sadagora arrival p/ms 12.9.1900. 3 Heller imperforate postage due stamp added upon arrival (as required for storage). 3 Jaffa parcel labels on front, numbers 82,83,84. The packages sent to Rabbi Jechiel (Yechiel) Taubes with his handsatmp arrival cachet on reverse alongside his signature. Packages weight written on front: 4.3 Kiligram, 4.7 Kiligram & 4.5 Kilogram. F-VF & scarce combinations.

Uprated with the rare 50cent / 50hell Austrian stamp with Lacquer (Varnish) diagonal lines, tied by Jaffa A/ Osterr.Post postmark 13.7.1907. (Steichele p/m type 536). Very rare mix combination of franking & Austrian Creta stamp with Varnish lines. 2012 Nakri photo certificate. Est. value $ 2000.00   David Yelin (1864 to 1941) Was an educator, a researcher of the Hebrew Language and literature, a politician, one of the leaders of the Yishuv, the founder of the first Hebrew College for teachers, one of the founders of the Hebrew language Committee and the Israel teachers union, and Zikhron Moshe neighborhood of Jerusalem.

Palestine Forerunners German Post Rare Destination - Post card mailed from Jaffa to the African island of Zanzibar. Frank 20 Para overprinted on imprinted German stamp, tied by Jaffa p/m March 5 1906. Aden transit p/m March 13 1906 alongside Zanzibar arrival p/m March 26 1906. Long English written message on back. VF & extremely rare show piece. The only known card sent from the Holy Land to Zanzibar during the Ottoman Empire era.
