Israel 1948 Interim period - Cover originate from small locality Kibbutz Mishmar Hasharon (short distance northeast of Nathanya), mailed from Tel Aviv to Rishon Le Zion. Franked 40 Armored car stamp (with Kishon variety) tied by Tel Aviv p/m dated May 3 1948 with same day Rishon Le Zion arrival p/m on back. This cover mailed by Joseph Hirsh Holocaust Survivor who was born in Lodz Poland 1924 and immigrate to Palestine after the war. The cover addressed to Ester Yarozinsky Beit and Bniya Nehama st. (Only few blocks long street, this days near the city market). Very rare example of commercial usage from Tel Aviv to Rishon Le Zion during 1948 war of independence. This cover with one vertical fold left of center and 2 hinges at top of back flap, otherwise VF.
